Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Santiago moved to Canada in 1994 to pursue a career in acting. Santiago has an extensive musical background as a singer and instrumentalist. Santiago graduated from Sheridan College's Music Theatre-Performance program in 1998. Since then he has been active as an actor and writer in theatre, film and TV; as well as performing with various bands all over Ontario.
